This is a highly directional sound-locating microphone, equipped with an internal high quality amplifier and earphone monitoring system.  The Supercardiod Mini Shotgun Mic features a high quality miniature electret condenser microphone.   Its pick-up pattern, designed for frequencies of medium range, allows to isolate and pick-up distant sounds such as human voices, bird calls etc.  Sound levels adjustable by the volume knob.
